A one day training session was conducted at Lahore Ring Road Authority. The session was conducted by Managing Director PPRA, Mr. Shahid Hussain. The attendees were given thorough presentation on PPRA Legal framework, its overview and salient features. They were taught about mandatory requirements under PPRA Rules, procurement plan and approval mechanism, essentials of public procurement, smart procurement principles, procurement process stages, principles of planning and procurement methodologies, preparation of precise and unambiguous bidding documents, bidding process, prequalification benefits and evaluation of bid process. A training session was conducted at Punjab Information Technology Board. The session was conducted by a member of their Web Presence team. The attendees were given a thorough presentation on how to manage and upload content on the responsive websites. They were taught on how to use Drupal, a software used to create websites. Everyone was given a comprehensive manual at the end of the session to further aid them in carrying out their respective tasks.
Short Course on Public Financial Management

A short course was conducted by Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants at Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), West Wood Colony, Thokar Niaz Baig, Raiwind Road, Lahore. The course provided details on how to mobilize revenue, undertake public spending, allocate and account for public funds. The main purpose of this was to ensure that the national resources were being managed effectively and efficiently.
